Vacation (part 2)
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Neither of us had ever been, so we decided to drive up to Toronto and see what all the hype was about. Big city = busy streets and lots of people but also lots of culture and great shopping!
We used the local transportaiton within the city: subway and streetcars. It was fast, convenient, and relatively inexpensive compared to wrestling the traffic and looking for parking by car.
Chinatown in a small part of Toronto. We always look for a Chinatown in every big city we visit. Hendrik is always on the lookout for authentic Chinese cuisine. We found a little cafe and had some noodles and tea.

The Toronto Museum of Art. This would normally be the highlight of my day, but see the line of people?? Admission is free after 4:30 on Fridays, so everyone seemed to have the same idea. Well, we were working with Andersen's schedule, meaning he'd have to be in bed by 8pm at the latest. So the museum visit was nixed. But cool building right? The masonry on the left part of the museum is original architecture, and the contemporary geometrical structure was added on most recently.
