Family Vacation in July (part 1)

Visit to the grandparents: We went down to visit Grandma and Grandpa. They took us to the local reservoir. Boy, I hadn't been there since I was a teenager! But it was a brand spankin' new experience for Andersen and he took it all in stride.

He loved every bit of it. He wiggled his toes in the sand, he felt the small waves lap at his feet, and he splashed the water a bit as it sat on the surface of the wet sand. Of course, when he squatted to splash the water, his bottom came down too low, so he had a damp butt on the way home... Ah well, small price to pay for sharing such joy in your child's new experiences.
