Summer Fun
For Memorial Day weekend (Sat/Sun) we visited Andersen's grandma and grandpa. They took him to the Dairy Farm nearby to have ice cream and fun. Turns out the farm was hosting a carnival that day, so grandparents spoiled grandson with rides. Grandma took him on a carousel ride (it went faster than expected and Andersen wasn't too happy about that - he clung to grandma and she clung to him!) And Grandpa sat with him on the stationary tractor - Andersen loved "steering!" 
I must admit, we adults had a bit of fun too. We tried our hand at the skeeball stand. It took about 7 tries between the 3 of us (50 cents for 6 balls/try) to get one small prize. Then we went inside to cool off with some ice cream - made right there at their farm. Of course, ice cream is a treat for kids of ALL ages!
