My baby is ONE today. I've actually had to try really hard not to forget Andersen's birthday because we celebrated it early with my family during Thanksgiving weekend. And to him, this is just like any other day. BUT, he woke up to new sights this morning: the Christmas tree (no decorations yet) that I put up last night and the stockings hanging over the fireplace. He wanted to touch those strange new things dangling out of his reach, but since he wasn't allowed to, he got to play with the Santa hat instead. Don't let the picture deceive you, he took the hat off right after I snapped the shot.
